About Nate Yandow
Owner Nate Yandow has been working professionally in the health industry since 2002. A former nutritionist with the Vermont Department of Health and a graduate of the University of Vermont, Nate holds degrees in Nutrition & Exercise Science with a Sports Nutrition concentration. Nate provides personal training and nutritional consultation services at Duke’s Fitness Center in St. Albans, Vermont.
Along with his education, Nate has been teaching classes since 2006, stemming from his personal training background that began in 2002.
Asking him how long he’s been into fitness, Nate replied, “since I can remember. I have always loved challenging my physical limits and loved the combination of the overall life benefits of a healthy lifestyle for the body mind and soul.”
Nate is a big fan of physical activity in general. “I love to cycle, mountain bike, snowboard, hike, do obstacle racing; play basketball, football, soccer, baseball; and any activity playing with my kids.”
Before Nate came to own Duke’s Fitness Center, he was a loyal member of the gym. “I started working out here in 1995 and fell in love with the experience and atmosphere here. Through college and beyond I have worked out in many health clubs and nothing has compared to the experience at Duke’s. Now I strive to improve that experience for others daily to make the most of their lives through healthy lifestyle changes.”
