Improve energy and save your life by getting away from energy drinks.

When looking for a quick fix, energy drinks seem like the perfect solution, with their tempting labels and promises of optimum performance in easy to consume forms. However, while energy drinks do temporarily make us feel more energized, they are actually harming our bodies in multiple ways and in some cases, have been fatal. This is due to the high concentration and combination of ingredients used in common energy drinks. Reading labels and knowing what it is you are consuming could save your life.

With proper nutrition before, during, and after activity our bodies gain true optimum performance, with the added benefit of aiding in both muscle growth and recovery. Hydration and the right combination of foods are our best choices for powering through a tough workout or sporting event.

For a better Quick Fix, try a Matcha Green Tea Shake or sip on our Shake of The Month, made with Tim Horton’s coffee. It’ll give you a healthy boost for a great workout!
