At Duke's Fitness Center our Personal Training services include:
Exercise, Nutrition, Sports-Specific Training, and Post-Injury Rehabilitation.
Your health is important. It matters. The truth is, it isn’t always easy figuring out what’s best for your body in terms of diet and exercise. That’s why Duke’s personal trainer, nutritionist, and owner Nate Yandow is on a mission to educate his members on how best to live well.
AND NUTRITIONAL Assistance
Healthy eating is almost as important as exercise. In addition to being a Personal Trainer Nate is also a nutritionist who provides personal, and virtual consulting for his clients both in and out of the gym. Nate’s focus has always been about starting with real food first. An important part of the process is the mental and emotional connection we have with food and identifying triggers to support in adapting to healthier habits.
If you have ever been through Physical Therapy you might know what it is like to feel a bit scared when it is all done. Your injury feels better, but it might not be 100% – and the question you continually ask yourself is “can I?” Now you can put those fears to rest with the help you need to continue your healing!
Beyond PT, you will need additional strength training to get back to your pre-injury condition. Nate built experience working as a PT Aid for 2 years so that he could better understand the Physical Therapy and rehab world of wellness. He has made great connections with Physical Therapists in the St Albans community which enables Dukes to provide the structure you need to safely get back into the gym. The combination of exercise science, nutrition, physical therapy aid along with over 20 years of personal training experience make for a great rehabilitation support.
Nate is a nutritionist and works with personal training and general clients in and out of the gym as well as virtually to support a healthy nutrition plan. Nate’s focus has always been about starting with real food first. An important part of the process is the mental and emotional connection we have with food and identifying triggers to support in adapting to healthier habits.

Contact Us to Schedule Your Personal Training Session!
PERSONAL TRAINING IS FREE FOR NEW MEMBERS
After you sign up for a Duke’s membership, you’ll be asked if you’d like to schedule a free personal training session. Why do we do this? It helps us show you how to use our machines in a way that’ll best benefit you. People often use equipment in a way or set goals that leave them injured or feeling discouraged. That’s not what fitness is about!
If you’re already a member, consider booking personal training time. You can do this by contacting us at our front desk or by booking a time online.
Packages for groups are also available as well.
Members: Cancellations must be done by phone or online 8 staffed business hours ahead of time.
New Members: It’s our policy to charge new members who miss their appointments a small fee ($20) for the time, while other personal training sessions not cancelled within the allotted time will be charged in full for the missed session.
LET’S GET STARTED.
